CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP CHURCH of Largo, supports many outreach ministries both here and abroad. Listed below are a few examples of our desire to bring compassionate support along with the word of GOD to those less fortunate.

Several members of CFC have started "SHUT-IN MINISTRIES", where they go out to homes or hospitals to minister with song, music and Gods word to those that can not easily attend a church service. Some of these folks may be sick to get out and around. Sandra Martin, Tinker Gillespie, Lillian Lolley, Pete Lissman are regulars with this outreach and are also part of our Praise and Worship team.
CFC also supports the Soul Harvesting Christian Centre in Nakuru, Kenya. Bishop Samuel Muangi runs the outreach and brings the word of God to people in a very impoverished area of the world.
CFC supports this outreach with funding for various church programs and needs. One of the projects currently underway is a well to supply much needed fresh, sanitary water for this area. Pictured to the right is the well system under construction.
The CFC Ladies Ministry supports Sable Palms Childrens Center in Largo year around. We provide personal care items such as tooth brushes, tooth paste, brushes, combs, body lotion, Etc. These children are disabled or in some cases suffer from brain damage. Entertainment as well as gifts are provided along with prayers. On holidays, special gifts are given to each child.
We also have several members, that visit jails and correctional institutions under a special program called KAIROS. Kairos believes that true rehabilitation starts with the “heart”. With this in mind our ministry to incarcerated men and women begins with the Kairos weekend where volunteers model and communicate God’s unconditional love, grace and mercy. It is here that God begins changing hearts. A key outcome of the Kairos weekend is for participants to find hope and a new vision for their life through a relationship with God.
The prison environment fosters isolation. During the weekend many participants take their first steps in learning to become vulnerable with one another. Following the weekend, they are encouraged to be involved in small groups focusing on accountability, encouragement and prayer. Those groups meet weekly and Kairos volunteers continue to return and provide discipleship and mentoring. God continues His work of changing hearts and transforming lives as the participants strengthen their relationship with Christ and with each other. They grow in their understanding that, with God’s help, a changed way of life is possible. As transformation continues, new attitudes are expressed in changed behavior. Soon they are impacting the world in which they live—inside the prison walls or outside upon their release
CFC Homeless Outreach delivers clothing, blankets, shoes and hot food to those most in need. Brothers Bruce Dack and Brett Sohtz roll out once a week to various locations to deliver Bibles as well as the other items. Other volunteers include Barb Bridgeman, Pete Lissman, Joann Pifer and others.
